NORFOLK, Va.– Norfolk State University has barred two athletes facing robbery charges from all team-related activities while their cases are pending.

NORFOLK, Va.– Norfolk State University has barred two athletes facing robbery charges from all team-related activities while their cases are pending.

Athletics director Marty L. Miller said Tuesday in a statement that a decision on Brandon Monroe’s and Jourdan Ellison’s future status as student-athletes won’t be made until their cases are resolved.

The 20-year-old Monroe is a sophomore basketball player. The 18-year-old Jourdan is a freshman volleyball player.
