R. Kelly’s defense team will continue to make its case in the singer’s child pornography trial. It’s not clear if they will call more relatives of the alleged victim to the stand.
The 41-year-old Kelly pleaded not guilty to charges that he made a videotape of himself having sex with an underage girl. Both Kelly and the alleged victim deny they’re on the tape. One relative of the alleged victim told jurors Wednesday that the issue of whether she is the young female on the tape has sharply divided the family. Four family members have testified that they recognize the female in the tape as their relative. Three have testified that it’s not her.
