JOLIET, Ill. — Will County health officials say all will be welcome at walk-in clinics for swine flu vaccine.

JOLIET, Ill. — Will County health officials say all will be welcome at walk-in clinics for swine flu vaccine. The county health department is following the new guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health. The vaccine supply has improved enough that it’s no longer necessary to limit it to people most at risk. The next scheduled flu vaccine clinic is Thursday at Plainfield Central High School. The clinic is scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. The Will County health department has distributed more than 19,000 doses of swine flu vaccine during 14 community clinics in Joliet, Plainfield, Lockport, Bolingbrook, Frankfort and Crete. Babies younger than six months old and people allergic to eggs will not be immunized. Copyright 2009 The Associated Press.
