Two south suburban mothers are missing, and police are seeking help from the public to find them. Viola Martin of Glenwood, Ill. was last seen by family the day after Christmas. Her daughter Angela Martin, a current contestant on “American Idol” said her mother hasn’t been in touch with any relatives. On Dec. 29, the 56-year-old’s car was found in nearby Dixmoor. Police said there were no signs of foul play. Anyone with information is urged to call Glenwood Police, 708-253-2420. The last time Dana Hayes was seen was the morning of Jan. 25 as she dropped her son off at Rich East High School in Park Forest, Ill. She never showed up for work later that day. Four days later her silver 2005 Kia Spectra was found abandoned on 159th Street in Harvey, Ill. There were no signs of foul play, police said. Hayes’ family said it’s out of character for the 35-year-old to miss work or leave without letting relatives know her whereabouts. Anyone with information is urged to call Park Forest Police, 708-748-1309 or 708-748-8390.
