Gov. Pat Quinn is marking the sixth anniversary of a labor strike at a downtown Chicago hotel. Quinn will join union and other officials outside the Congress Plaza Hotel later in the day. Strikers walking the picket line are a familiar sight outside the hotel on Michigan Avenue. Quinn isn’t the only high-profile politician to stand with strikers outside the hotel. During his presidential campaign, President Barack Obama also walked the picket line. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
