Chicago police are investigating the shooting death of a teenager who was gunned down on the sidewalk near his home on the city’s southwest side.

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago police are investigating the shooting death of a teenager who was gunned down on the sidewalk near his home on the city’s southwest side.
Police say the teenager was shot in the back at about 8:30 on Sunday night in the Marquette Park neighborhood. The teen has been identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Cornell Henderson.
Police say no arrests have been made.
