Hundreds of doctors are heading to Chicago this weekend for the start of the American Medical Association’s annual meeting. Delegates to the nation’s largest doctors’ group meet once a year to vote on which public health and pocketbook issues to make official AMA policy. This year’s agenda includes measures on the dangers of anti-aging remedies, benefits of vitamin D and health reform. President Barack Obama will address the meeting on Monday to explain why doctors should support his health reform efforts.
