A white supremacist blogger is due in a New Jersey court on charges he threatened to assault or murder three Chicago-based federal judges.

Hal Turner will appear in court Thursday to address charges that he threatened three appeals judges who refused to overturn handgun bans. The 47-year-old Turner was arrested Wednesday at his North Bergen, N.J., home.

Prosecutors say one of Turner’s Internet postings said "these judges deserve to be killed." It included a map showing the Chicago courthouse where the judges are based and said a map showing their homes would be added.

Turner’s attorney declined to comment on the charges Wednesday.

Turner was arraigned Monday in Connecticut on a charge of encouraging violence against state legislators there.
