CHICAGO (AP) — A 36-year-old Chicago man arrested last week on domestic battery charges is being held without bail after authorities discovered he was wanted in the 2009 slaying of a teenager.

Authorities say that Dewallis Harris shot allegedly shot and killed 16-year-old Ramone Morris of Chicago in May of last year over $80 that Morris owed Harris.

Harris was in custody after he allegedly punched a woman in the face when police discovered that he had been charged with murder in a warrant that was issued about four months ago.
