A man who told police he’s a knife salesman has been stabbed by one of his own knives after a fall on a city bus. Chicago Police Officer Laura Kubiak says the unidentified man was on a Chicago Transit Authority bus early Sunday when he lost his footing. He fell and was stabbed in the leg. Fire officials say he lost a lot of blood but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. He was being treated at an area hospital. He’s told officials that he’s a knife salesman and sells his wares out of a suitcase. Copyright 2009 The Associated Press.
