Four have been charged in a massive brawl Sunday morning in the Roseland neighborhood that injured a few teens, including a girl who lost sight in one eye. Tommy McLaurin, 34, Jacquez Shannon, 18, Jerry Shannon, 17 and a 16-year-old boy were each charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct for their role in a melee in the 100 block of West 115th Street that cost a high school student an eye. Police said 17-year-old Andrea Sanders was swept up in a fight among an estimated 20 to 30 people with bats and bottles. The teen was struck in the eye with a bottle after attempting to go into a nearby store. Sanders, a student at Schaumburg High School, was in the area visiting relatives and was on her way back to the northwest suburb when she got caught in the brawl. A motive hasn’t been determined and it hasn’t been ruled out if others are being sought, said Chicago Police News Affairs officer JoAnn Taylor.
