
A former deputy chief on Gov. Pat Quinn’s staff has been recommended to become the executive director of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.
A former deputy chief on Gov. Pat Quinn’s staff has been recommended to become the executive director of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. The head of the Illinois Tollway Board of Directors and the Executive Director Selection Committee on Thursday recommended Kristi Lafleur for the post. Lafleur previously was deputy chief of economic development and recovery for the governor. She worked as a liaison between the governor’s office and state economic development and transportation agencies. The tollway board is to hold a special meeting to confirm LaFleur’s appointment.
