Tamayo resigned from the Gaming Board in 2006. She claimed the administration retaliated against her after she refused to cooperate in what she alleges were illegal activities. She also claims she never received the $160,000 salary she was promisedùthe amount male predecessors received.
A federal court dismissed her lawsuit in September 2007.
