CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium is planning a week of free admission to its original galleries June 12-17 to celebrate summer vacation and warmer weather.
The aquarium is also offering discounts on its Shedd Pass, which includes admission to areas of the aquarium that feature favorites such as belugas and sharks. The discounts bring the Shedd Pass price down to just under $21 for an adult and just under $14 for a child, ages 3-11.
The aquarium is also staying open late that week, with extended hours from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Advance tickets are recommended. Regular and discounted passes can be purchased on the aquarium’s website or by calling Ticketmaster.
