The Chicago Defender erroneously endorsed Arthur Turner for the Democratic nomination in the 9th State Representative District. Arthur Turner is the son of the incumbent, Arthur L. Turner, who is running for Lieutenant Governor. The Defender will not endorse in this race, and regrets the error.
