MARION, Ill.— Authorities are trying to pinpoint what sparked a blaze that damaged part of Marion High School in southern Illinois. Investigators don’t consider suspicious the blaze Tuesday that damaged the office of the boy’s varsity basketball coach, an adjacent office and the locker room area. No one was injured by the fire that apparently broke out while summer school was in session and registration was taking place for a football camp. The principal, Steve Smith, says the building was evacuated quickly. Summer classes were back in session Wednesday. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
