Dismissal was reportedly delayed as police worked to control the situation, a Defender photographer observed. A police spokeswoman confirmed that six people were taken into custody and there were no injuries. It was the second time that day police were called to the school.
Police had been called to Marshall High School on the West Side at around 10 a.m. Tuesday to deal with a disturbance on the school’s second floor. A motive for the scuffle has not been released but police were reportedly called back that day around dismissal time. Defender/Worsom Robinson
